Teresa “Terry” Woodlief


As a recently retired veteran Visual Arts Educator, Terry is known as a leader in arts education. She presents workshops at the local and state level on topics relating to teaching students with disabilities, as well as mentoring novice art teachers, encouraging the use of cross- curricular instruction.  Terry’s accomplished career didn’t go unnoticed as she was awarded NAEA Southeast Regional Elementary Educator 2021, FAEA Elementary Educator 2020, FAEA Museum Educator 2013, Florida Governor’s Shine Award 2015 and the Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child Award 2018 for Excellence in Arts Teaching, as well finalist for Duval County Teacher of the Year, 2015.
